Marsha McAdam is a mental health influencer and ambassador for many organisations and social movements including the Centre for Mental Health and the Speakers Collective.

Marsha has used her lived experience to help people and services over many years and has sat on some of the most transformative boards and panels, including the Expert by Experience Group for Equally Well UK, and until recently was Co-Chair of the Greater Manchester Personality Disorder Strategy. Marsha is also a national speaker on matters such as parity of esteem, personality disorder, stigma and discrimination.

In 2018 Marsha was also a member of the government's Mental Health Act Review Team focusing on Service User Autonomy which developed the ground breaking recommendations which have been adopted and are currently working their way into legislation. Marsha is known and widely respected across the sector.
